Grand Campaign mod won't start

Hey, I spent all last night downloading Part 1 & 2 of the Grand Campaign mod. I installed and everything, but when I tried to play the game, it went to the loading screen and died. I figured it might have something to do with the location of all my folders, so I reinstalled the game AND mod. Now when I try to play, a small black box pops up (It dissapears before I can read what it says) and nothing else happens. Is there something I've done wrong? Please help me... Thanks in advance.

when you say part 1&2, do you mean 3.0 part 1&2 and then patch 4.2
and which OS do you have?

Yes, part 1 & 2 of 3.0 and then patch 4.2

And I'm running windows 7

Total War 2 is, but the mod isn't. I'm going to try and install the mod again.

Hmmm my game starts even though it's installed under C:\Games\Medieval II Total War\

But perhaps I need ot install M2TW under program files to fix the problem I have with not being able to build churches in this mod.

This is probably a really stupid question...but what do I need / need to do for my computer to run or recognise this KGCM file??
