I can't for the life of me recall two WW2 films that I've seen in the past. Folks here on TWC are a most well versed bunch in this era so here goes,
One from what I can vaguely remember is a movie about a group either trying to escape Germany or help a group of Jews escape. One scene I can remember is a couple canoodling in the forest when a patrol arrives, the two hand them I.D. papers and that's that. Not sure but I think there is some sort of betrayal by someone who sells them out (they thought him to be a friend) as they are escaping in a truck during the night(?)
Another follows a group of American soldiers who have to make their way to X before something happens(Sorry). Most if not all of the movie takes place during the winter, the soldiers also bump into a British pilot who aids them, also the band stops by a house where a French(?) woman and her daughter give them some food. There is also alot of gun play towards the end.
Gahhh, I hate this since it's been bugging me so much but I know someone here can help me out.
Two rounds of rep for anyone who can aid me.
Until then I'll continue searching. Heck they may have been TV movies, hopefully they weren't the same movie.
