    Icon1 Help I'm a noob!

Now I must say this mod takes the cake when it comes to difficulty. I love the mod but I just can't seem to get through the campaign easily. When I started out my Knights Templar campaign on VH/VH (And my Byzantine Empire campaign) I couldn't recruit better units other than peasant units. I saw that my general (along with most if not all y generals) had an Impaired Recruiting Ability. Or is it Faction Zeal that prevents me from getting good units? How can I recruit better and higher units? Please help!

    "I'm a noob!"
"When I started out my Knights Templar campaign on VH/VH"

once youre no longer a noob you will understand how ridiculous this post sounds
you pretty much chose the hardest challenge the game can offer

what you describe " I couldn't recruit better units other than peasant units. I saw that my general (along with most if not all y generals) had an Impaired Recruiting Ability"
is not a normal part of the game

probably you installed a bunch of mods and something went wrong

although winning on vhvh with the templars with peasants only could win you the eternal adoration of every one in this forum

Also dude do u even have 6.1 installed? Or even any of those sub installs ticked when you installed the patch? Cause Impaired Recruitment Ability is a trait for generals. So it is a normal part of the game -.-

If you haven't installed the fix for the 6.1 minimods you installed check http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=106060

    Important Note
If you installed BGRIII using the Stainless Steel 6.1 installer you NEED this fix. It is at the bottom of this post, called "data.zip".
Simply unzip it and place the resulting data folder here:C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\ , then start a new campaign.

As of 27/05/08 this update file also contains updated descriptions and improvement tweaks. Requires new campaign.
The topic should give you some more information in general
