    Default Poll: Naval Activity

    That no ships thread got me thinking. I never noticed that Gaul didn't have any ports. I wage war primarily by land.

    So RTR Community, what are your maritime habits?

    As Carthage, I have about 20-25 I think. It's enough to keep the Romans away from Corsica, seal off Sicily, and protect the Baleares. Can't do much else though. Sometimes pirates come through Gibraltar and annoy me.

    My usual tactic is to have a ship building town/city and send them out in groups of 2/3 so they can handle most things that come towards me/ attack others
