    Default Game mechanics!?

    I played a lot of third age simply because I really love the mechanics!
    What I don't like about this mod is how the units behave on the battlefield: they don't die very fast, and don't kill any faster, and there is no importance of "holding the line", it takes ages to break it!
    I like the mod because it brings some new factions, but I just hate going into battles!
    Maybe I'm just used to another style of the game, maybe third age is a bit arcade, but it runs smoothly.
    Unlike Sicilian Vespers which goes too slow and bad for my taste...

    One of the main points of the mod is to slow things down, and minimize the steamrolling effect. We are going for the more historical approach here.

    Actually That was the one thing that I really liked about this mod LOL using a shield wall and the units hold the wall when advancing and attacking unlike other mods. Where the wall disintergrates when they charge the enemy
