The battles are longer lasting than vanilla, the units cost more and so do the buildings. It's no simple thing to just build up a full stack and sweep all before you. The music is cool, the silence of RTR was off-putting to me. Overall this seems to be a great mod. I'm playing my first campaign as Romans as they're who I'm most familiar with but look forward to trying out the other civs later.

The Roman campaing is definetly one of the most interesting. You can expand in any direction, fight numerous enemies, + you get 3! reforms! It's awesome

It depends on how you play it. If you play with house rules and follow role-playing, it can be quite a b***

Yeah i just downloaded this like a week ago too. Im doing my first campaign as the romans. have all of western north africa, sicily, and italy. im liking it haha
