AI never finishes his turn?

AI never finishes his turn in my save atm. After around 70-85 turn, the AI never finish his turn when the flags shows up. It get stuck on the Ottoman Empire flag

I read a lot about this problem after several turns. Apparently always happens with the ottomans. Is there away to fix it?

I had the same problem, but with Poland doing the freezing. During Poland's turn it attacked one of my allies and the game ask if I want to help said allies or not, after I chose an option, it remains stuck on Poland's turn.

Nothing I did helped(ie moving different units or building different buildings) except to declare war on Poland during my turn, and after that no more freezes yet.

That was same problem with me in Rome total war.

Just had my GB campaign freeze in the 1750's.

Last thing I've seen was Sweden being run over by at least 50 1-unit sized Danish armies , and now the game's been hanging for at least 20 minutes during Swedens turn.

That's it ... going back to DLV...1.6 Empire is still a mess...
