New city models. Are they included in SS?

Are those new city/town models included in the SS or are they part of some others sub mod? I've seen some people playing with SS has posted screenshots with the new city/town models.

In addition, I wonder if I need to download SS 6.1 first, then the last patch 6.2? Or do I have to download 6.0, then 6.1 and 6.2? Sorry if I ask stupid and simple questions, but there is a long time since I played MTW2.

They are not in SS 6.1 basic. You'll find them included in Gracul's 6.2 or Point Blanks Real Recruitment / Real Combat.

My personal favorite is PBs RR/RC.
It actually includes 6.2, and a bunch of other stuff. In a way you could call it the latest version of SS. It does change alot of things since Vanilla and SS 6.1 so read up on it before installing.

And no you don't have to install 6.2. Lots of people just stay at 6.1 because there are some sub-mods incompatible with 6.2 or they just don't like what's been added.
