Who cares about Graphics? I think that they're pretty good, plus I actually LIKE replayability value and how the gameplay feels. That coupled with running fast on high settings, and graphics that I feel are very good, I still think this is the best game EVAH!

I used to play the game for two years before I stopped playing. Then I started Medieval II and Kingdoms but they never gave me the same pleasure that RTW gives. So here I am again playing RTW-BI

I haven't played RTW in a while but I'm always tempted to reinstall. It will always be my favourite total war, closely followed by the first medieval total war, but that's probably because MTW was my first Total War game.

Well, if you compare it to NTW, the graphics are substandard. However, I have mine cranked to the max, and the game still looks pretty good. Plus, any graphical shortcomings are more than made up by the strength of the game itself. There is a reason why so many people on these forums want to see Rome 2.

I never play Rome Total War, I usually play a mod, with vanilla on the side every once in a while. Heck, I would still be playing Command and COnquer Red Alert if I had it.

RTW's already good enough as it is, but then Europa Barbarorum raises it to godly standards.

You might be amazed at the games people play. Most people I know here don't judges games solely on high polygon count and shader effects. RTW's fun and the gameplay has lasting appeal which is so much more important to me than graphics.

Eye candy is not everything ya know? I just feel that the gameplay in NTW is very unsuitable for someone like me who prefers swords clashing rather then people shooting each other from afar.

I have all the games since RTW (it was my first Total War game.. I'd go back and get the other two, but they don't like nvidia ), but I play RTW the most, by far. I like the setting the most, and the graphics are fine for me (I never zoom far in anyways.. and it's easier to recognize units at a distance in RTW than M2TW and newer games)
