Budget issue? WAD?

Hi.

Im new to the mod and started an England campaign to get the feel of the mod. Its still early days, France declared war on me recently but offered ceasefire the turn after. Other than that not much else has gone on.

These last few turns Ive been noticing a -12,000! in the diplomacy line of my budget and I have no idea why. Im now bankrupt.

Can anyone explain?

Ahh, I think I may have but that was a while back.

12,000 seems a bit excessive if I do say so.

Ive suffered multiple -12,000's now and am really bankrupt. Does this effect last indefinately?

It's a bug. It's only supposed to deduct 12k once, not all the time. There is a fix posted in the FAQ but unfortunately it's not savegame compatible. It's fixed in version 6.2 too.
