I might have a script problem
I have recantaly come back to playing eb after a year or two. If I remember correctly eb has a script which allows military reforms ect. I remember that if the Romans sent an army to Scilly that would automatically course a war between Rome and Carthage. However in my new Carthage campaign the Romans have sent an army to Scilly but no war has been decleared. I was worried that if this part of the script is not working then other parts might not be working either.
I could just be going mad and ever thing is working fine but I just wanted to make sure.

Re: I might have a script problem
Did you activate the script every time you load a save? See the advisor!
A good way to check if the script is working is the financial overview. If the AI-factions have no money, the script is not active.

Re: I might have a script problem
I have checked the financial scroll to see the AI's nations financises and other than Rome and 1 or 2 other nations, all others are completely bankrupt. That must mean my script is not working.
I don't understand I always click on the button to activate the script but it obviously does not work for what ever reason. Does anyone have any advice to how to solve this problem.
Thanks XSamatan for your advice so far

Please run a validation [Installation validation] and post your results here. Maybe your installation is not right. Do you have mini-mods installed?

Re: I might have a script problem
sorry for the late reply XSamatan but I have been rather buisy this last few days. I have tried to use that installation validation but when I run it all I get is a empty page. Is there anything else I can do to change that.

Re: I might have a script problem
Before handling with that, please check the following:
Start EB and load your game. Start the advisor. Open the console and press 'UP' at your keyboard. If there is something written about date and season, the script works.

Re: I might have a script problem
I am not 100% sure what your asking me to do. I get turn on EB and I am gessing that turn on adviser means to get the adviser up and press the show me how button, but what do you mean by open the console.

Re: I might have a script problem
I tried it with my saved Carthage campaign and I did not get any infomation on date or season. But I started some new campaigns with several diffrent factions and the campaign script seems to be working. I also get the date and season if I press the console button.
I don't know why on my first carthage campaign the script did not work but I started a second and the script seems to work fine. I will reply later if the same problem come up again.
Thanks for everyone who helped.
P.S one other little thing, I remember there being a little cut sean when you start a new campaign. I think it was of some sort of tempe. But that cut sean does not happen any more. But it does not effect the over all game so its not a problem.

Re: I might have a script problem
Then there must be something wrong with your first Carthie game. If you are not too long into the campaign start new, if you want to play this game along, upload your save-game and I'll give it a try at my build.
