    Default What is making my mod crash?

    I have made a unit pack for Portugal but I can't get ETW to run with it in Modmanager. It just crashes immediately. I have uploaded it as an attachment here because I would like if someone could take a look at it and tell me what is causing the CTD and maybe fix it for me. Thanks.

    Well, I haven't checked the whole file, but the file names of a couple of unit textures seem odd to me: "cabofrio_diffuse.dds.dds" and "cabofrio_gloss_map.dds.dds". Try removing one of the ".dds" there. Also, have you made sure that the unit with an ID Ref of "cabo_frio" is to look for textures named "cabofrio..."?

    Thanks Demokritis. I will have a look. However, I think I subsequently ironed that out but it continued to crash on startup. I managed to get a mod changing the Portuguese Marines model working.

    There seems to be a pattern. I can change/add one unit. But when I try to add multiple units I get crashes.

    Okay I have managed to get this far (see below) with 7 new units for Portugal. But when I try to start a battle, the game crashes on the loading-screen. What is the problem?
