    Default I powned France but...

Playing as Burgundy I destroyed France. All their European lands are mine now. They have some colonies in America and they own some of Tunesia and Algeria. Their fleet is still way stronger than mine but their entire land army is gone. Warscore 94%. now the problem... They won't accept even the most reasonable peace offer. If i ask for 4 provinces it is to much. They on the other hand only send offers in witch they only drop their claims on my territory. I read somewhere that if you hold a province for 10 years it also becomes yours but I have hold some of them for almost 14 years now. Is there a way to make France more reasonable? (it is my first game of Europa universalis III so I chose easy difficulty...)

    No.

    1. It takes 25 years to have core.

    2. France never be reasonable, unfortunately.

My favor strategy against France is vassal them, then diplo-annex them after ten years. Worked well for my Austria campaing.

So if camp them for another 12 years they should be mine? Even their capital?

No, the counting starts when the provinces are under your control formerly and properly - occupied territories do not count.

I settled for 2 provinces at the end. Thanks anyway.

Well, I doubt vassalising them is an option. I guess you need 300% warscore to do that, at least I think that's close to what mainland France costs...

Nah, just accept what they're willing to give. You've curshed them once, you can do it again.

Diplo-vassal is possible (I did for my Austria campaign), only you need to invest such large amount of money and time that probably would kill off your economy.

'pwned', not 'powned'. That's like saying 'roffle' or 'rofflemow' instead of ROFL or ROFLMAO.

A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

Well, French Empire always got pawned by Aragon and Burgundy in my game... I don't know, but both countries love a joint-offensive operation against French, even they are not allied most time.

Nah they attacked France with Castille soon after I was gone. Even though France did not even have 15k of troops they won the war... They did distract France when i was invading though. And even gained some provinces but gave them away again..

In IN they always seem to maim both of them - even when they attack simultaneosly.

I am not sure, since it seems the AI is not "fixed" and actually try something difference each time from their past mistakes... But then, also for unknown reason Aragon becomes extremely strong once the time hit 1650s - colonization, invade France, fighting whatever superpower and win, you name it.

Either way, the real fun only starts after 1700s in Vanilla - few powers stay in Europe and one small war would be a total war of Europe.

Oh, and Inca Empire is crazy once they are westernized - even more crazier than France, trust me.

Aragon always seem to be wiped out before 1500 in my games, either by France or Castille or both.

if u have ht3 then u can leave their capital and send a spy and get a pretender, and when the pretender take control u get whatever you occupied as all yours

If the AI isn't accepting peace deals it's either you don't have their capital (did they move it?) or they are just being stupidly stubborn. If its the latter case, then ask for 25 ducats each peace deal. When they reject, they will recieve a -1 stability hit from not accepting a resonable peace deal.

Oh and about recieving provinces after 10 years ... there's a special event that fires, where you need to have less than 5 war exhastion and they need to have greater than 15 war exhastion, but the event is so rare that just consider it a great luxury that you recieve it
