Installation Error - NVM

My EB 1.1 installer experienced and error while trying to install:

"C:\SANGO-Total War\EB\Data\UI\ancillaries\912.tga

An error occurred while trying to read the source file."

What do I do now?

Edit 1: Let this be a lesson to all. If at first you don't succeed, try and try again BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY SCREWED UP THE FIRST TIME!

Edit 2: Ok, I got farther the second time around, but I was unable to install the files related to the custom battles, so I ignored them, figuring I wouldn't need to play a custom battle. Then the problem repeated itself during my 1.2 installation. Any ideas?

Edit 3: GAH! CTD whenever I try to start up.

From which source did you get the installers? Using torrent gives you a clean and 100& working file.
Please install RTW first, and not under Program Files! Better c:\Games
run 1.1 with administrator-rights and install into your RTW folder
same with 1.2
apply the fixes

If it crashed, open EB-Configuration in the main RTW-folder and disable videos, if you are starting EB with shortcut, add -nm to the target line.
