Yeah they greenlighted the pilot last year but now a full 6 eposide slate has been okayed by AMC. Really cant wait and really hope they series holds true the terrific comic series which is less about zombies/undead and more about what happens to people, how they deal and cope when world goes to living hell. Series is suppose to kick off come October. Even if you dont like horror or zombie genre people should give it a shot because as I said its not really bout the zombies anyway.

Looks good man, I love zombies. I hope that it's good. I haven't read the comics though, but I might check them out at some point after I have seen the series.

Really should they are great, to break it down to simplest (and waaay oversimplified ) without spoiling anything basically its story centered on characters Rick Grimes (police office), his wife Lori and their two kids (Carl and Judith...Judy isnt born til after the undead start rising though) in post apoc world overrun by the dead. How they survive, deal with other survivors and general horror one would be in if world suddenly died. Series shows it is indeed possible for humans to survive in such a world its just how they do so, what they are willing to to do either by force or choice to do so and whether one can remain in touch with being human while doing so.
