    Icon5 Rome BI - M2TW Comparison?

I have both RTW and M2TW + Kingdoms (amongst others). I was considering picking up Barbarian Invasion. I would be appreciative of those who have both BI and M2TW to give me opinions on the comparisons and contrasts of the two games: particularly graphics, AI, diversity of factions, replayability, mods, and anything else of interests. Thanks.

Well MTW2 has better graphics and AI but beacuse of all the hording factions, BI has better replayability and atmosphere

Go for BI. Its a good game. Lots of variety, you'll be at it for a long time.

Thanks for the input. I fired up RTW again. I forgot how great that game is. BI will likely be a purchase.

If they do a R2TW, it might be a very interesting multiplayer campaign game to have two players as the Eastern and Western Empires.

BI is interesting if you enjoy fighting random hordes attacking you. If you enjoy really tiny factions to really large ones(roman empires) then you should buy BI. In comparison to kingdoms...
1)Kingdoms has special events that effect the game, like in Brittiania when Edward goes on a crusade kinda thing. Its more interesting.
    2) BI has hordes, which can be fun/annoying if you know how to deal with em.
    3) BI for some reason has a better replay value. Kingdoms is not that fun once you finish the game.
    4) BI only has three religons, you can't send priests over to convert em, which sucks alot.

So whatever religion is present in a province, stays that way?

Generally, it would take a long time to convert a settlement/region but if you build your certain church/mosque/shrine and enforce some authority there...they'll eventually come around. OR at least form a majority
