    Default Marian reforms.

When u read the title u were probably sighing: "Another dude who wants to know when the reforms occur"
But thats not what i want to know. Im playing as the romans (ofcourse) and i have a little problem.
I installed the submod that takes away the time limit for the marian reforms (dont have to wait till 172 BC to get them, just fullfill other requirements ^^) but the problem is, the boni seem to have taken over my family tree O.o So i cant have the sharp/char/vig. POPULARIS general u need for the reforms.
So i was wondering is there any way to give a certain character the popularis trait? Like with cheats?
And yes I know, cheats are bad, but i just cant wait to get those legionnaries *drools*
    Anyways, thanks already,
    Warm greets, Lucius.

Ps: Since I'm new to the forums, i didnt know whether i should post this in a new topic or in the "Questions here" topic. Anyways, if i was wrong to make a new one, feel free to tell me

LOL, just joking. well, you can use RomeShell, by pressing the tilde button (`) and entering the command. I hope someone else answers with more detail cos I'm in a bit of a hurry at the moment. cheers
Oh and welcome to the forums. if someone hasn't said that already

    I know the command is something like: give_trait <character> <trait> <level number>
But when i put in the name of my family member for example: give_trait "Manivs Cornelivs Blasio" Popularis 1
It says that the character name is not found.. Any way to look up your character's "real" names?

you should look it up in the descr_names.txt file I think, in the 'EB - Romani' section
because the 'family' name is made by traits, the 'true' name of the character would not have Cornelivs Blasio in it. there was the same problem before, and I'm not quite sure of the answer just yet...

Caivs Romanvs- All the Surnames are Romanvs but they use the Gens cornelia traits to get the last name.

Yeah, i tried Manivs Romanvs too, turned out to be some diplomat named manivs >.>
Lets see who gets the trait when that diplomat goes on a ship and "dissappears"

in the descr_names.txt file, you can actually see, for example, Manivs come up 12 times.
ie, Manivs, ManivsA, ManivsB, ....... ManivsJ, ManivsK. you could have a go at that

Before giving traits to people they don't deserve it, identify the character with character_reset "CHARNAME"
This will give you the option to look save which Manivs you have to enter.
