The mongols arrived, they took Urgench and lost it, now there are tons of them. Do you think they will become huge and be a real threat to me or will they be fighting the kwarezian empire for the rest of the campaign? I can't really predict this and want to know if i should prepare for uberleet mongols or just continue as normal

Norwegian Egypt should be fine.
But always be wary. - Don't keep full stack garrisons, just make sure you're rich enough to build a quick defence.
(This is in general too, sometimes the Khwarezmians abandon the war against the Mongolians and instead they push west.)
