    Icon14 Surnames

First of al, hello everyone, I'm new on the forums, also wanna say: EB is the best RTW mod out there!
But what i really want to know is:
Well I was playing the Romans, and was owning some Getai. My general was Quintus Fabius Maximus.
But at a certain point he got the 'Victor over Dacians' trait. Then i looked at the name. No more Quintus Fabius Maximus... It was now Quintus DACICUS!
Well I wanted to know, are there any other names like that in EB?

See, the ancient romans would usually adopt a permanent part of their name, called agnomen after great victories. We have talked in previous threads about the roman names and their naming conventions. The gist of it is, names like Africanvs, Dacivs were a new nickname the victorious Roman general adopted because of his victories. His descendants were all children of "The conqueror of the Dacians" in your case, so they would also be called "Dacivs". Hope that clears it for you.
