    Default EDB trade bonuses

Can anyone explain the effective difference between these 2?:

    trade_base_income_bonus bonus 1

    And

    trade_level_bonus bonus 1

    Thanks

The trade_base_income_bonus bonus 1 refers to land based trade income. the 1 is equal to one pip in the settlement mechanics file.

Unfortunatly, i have never seen trade_level_bonus bonus 1 in any EDB so i didnt know it existed.

Why i replied to a question i cant answer i have no idea...

I appreciate the moral support, thanks!

No but seriously, that is half of what I wanted to know, thankyou.

At least I can confirm that when I swapped all instances of trade_base_income_bonus with trade_level_bonus that I had a crapload more money than before, but there is probably a differing mechanism. I would guess that one (base) is set increments and the other (level) is a modifier.

I agree with your finding Taiji, trade_level_bonus will most likely increment the levels from descr_campaign_db, being much more severe as it is a base multiplier.
