Why do I keep getting CTD's?

When I'm in the menu to pick a faction when i click on a certain faction it just crashes. It seems pretty random. Anybody know whats wrong?

The game will CTD if you look at a number of factions, so make your choice and go for it. When CA designed MTW2, if was never designed for this many factions, so that is why

The game engine can't handle the greatness of Stainless Steel. As soon as it realizes that there are more factions included then in the normal game it throws a fit and kicks you out. There is nothing to be done so best select the faction you want to play as fast as possible so the engine doesnt catch on.

This has been asked and answered hundreds of time previously. It is also listed in the FAQ. Please do a forum search and read the FAQ before posting new threads.
