    Default Windows 7

I'm sure this has been asked before, but let me ask it again:

Anyone know whether there is a way to get Kingdoms and associated mods working in Windows 7? I've been through all the posts I could find on the Sega site and unless I'm missing something, none of them seemed to work.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Hmmmm...Strange. I have windows 7 and am not having any problems. Are you turning off the AUC when you download? That usually screws things up if you don't. On mine if I don't turn it back on after downloading the game cant seem to find the game saves. Hope this helps...

    Shouldn't be any problems.
Make sure you have the latest patches, and Kingdom installed (only needs 1 scenario).

Then just follow the instructions and when you are installing make sure to turn off UAC (user account control) found in the control panels. Then just follow all the steps, but install all the parts of the mod TWICE because the installer can sometimes miss things.

Also, if you have 3D battle problems (crash on start deployment like I had), just turn off battle advisor and delete the map.rwm (I think it's rwm) file in StainlessSteel/data/world/maps The computer will re-fabricate another file (hopefully), this worked for me.

    It works just fine!

    Question:

Did you just recently upgrade from Windows Vista?
