Problems with Windows 7

Hey all,

The upshot of my problem is, the game won't run.

I've freshly installed M2TW and Kingdoms. I've downloaded SV 3.0 and directed the install to C:\Program Files (x68)\SEGA\Medieval 2 Total War, and upon installing my McAfee virus scanner removes a Trojan from the installed files. I've tried running the game, but the .exe which the shortcut should run apparently doesn't exist.
I'm running on Windows 7.

What am I doing wrong?

i clicked on that thread and went through the winzip process and mine still doesnt work when i start it up and type in the letter and hit enter it says access denied like 15 times then it will take me to the menu of the game but i cant do anything?please help

You need to be an admin on your box, so that the launcher can overwrite files in the SV folder.
