Fixing Mongol Family Tree in 6.2
Let me first say that I love 6.2 and all of the fixes attached to it; but one thing I was wondering was why the Late Era Mongol family tree got changed around so that Genghis' generals are his children rather than his actual biological sons. At first I was going to simply add his sons (Ogedei, Chagatai, Tolui, etc.) at different coordinates with their own armies, but then I realized that playing a LE game as the Fatimids, Genghis' sons were appearing as fully grown adults in Persia and Kazakhstan (as well as other generals, and much faster than they could be recruited from the castles that they have).
So, just wondering, what would I have to go in and edit to ensure that I can give Genghis his actual sons in his family tree as well as the generals (or have the generals switch places) without there being duplicates in the script who would show up later? Or would I have to go in and edit the entire campaign script and edit the way that the AI Mongol armies spawn? If so, how could I edit it to make sure that it changes the rest of the gameplay the least while just switching the generals?
Any help would be appreciated.

Check the Mod Workshop section of the forums for detailed tutorials on setting up family trees

Re: Fixing Mongol Family Tree in 6.2
Thanks, but knowing how to edit the family trees isn't the conundrum that I'm having. I just need to know how the SS scripting was modified so that the later Mongol generals who show up don't conflict with ones who have been switched around/added in. The last time that I tried that (with an earlier version of the mod) none of the campaigns would work and I had to go and restore the descr_strat file to what it had been before editing.

Ah apologies. Just go into the campaign script, find the script for spawning mongol armies and replace each general's name with "random_name" (minus the quotes).
