iphone knockoffs crap?

hey there i recently bought a bb 9000 but now im selling it and never touching rim again now i know that they don't allow you to use your own wifi without a data plan as in the phone wont let you use msn over your own home internet without a bb plan. That makes the phone almost useless to me and i hate rim for making it so inconvenient and trying to force me to pay so im giving in an finally buying an iphone. i want to know are those iphone knockoffs like the sch-phone complete crap? They are much cheaper than the often extremely expensive iphone so i want to save money and get one of them if they are exactly the same. Thanks.

Also are iphone minis bad? i will use it constantly for msn and skype so the screen needs to be easily readable.

As a rule of thumb if you want a smart phone I would give a wide birth to anything that uses Windows Mobile which IS crap (from the interface, slow response times, default apps which are cut down desktop apps which weren't designed for a phone and it crashes.................a lot). If you don't want to get an iphone I suggest looking at phones that use Google's Android such as the HTC Hero

I have a Samsung Blackjack 2 that uses Windows Mobile. I haven't had any trouble with crashing, but it can get quite slow if I don't clear my texts for a while, and there aren't many apps I can get for it. Granted though, I don't have the data plan, I just got it cause I like the keyboard. I cannot T9 at all.

I have an iPod Touch and I love it, and iPhones are great. I like the looks of Android and HTC phones, though I've never had one.

I haven't heard of a mini either.

hey ive actually decided to finally move away form prepaid and go on a iphone plan. $40 or so a month with data and $29 a month for the phone and i own it at the end. Better than forking over a wad for a phone myself.

The iPhone minis are okay. I have got to try a couple of them out. I would not buy one though unless you want to pay a high price. They run a dollar a day for unlimited EDGE access, which is really slow, and about 25 cents per minute. Keep in mind that rates may vary though, both Iphones I tried ran on the T-mobile network.

I have a blackberry curve, the 8310, it gets reeeaaally slow when i haven't cleared texts for a week. Like i have to wait ten seconds to send a text I've used an iPhone, and I like it a lot. Never heard of this mini though
