many a nationalist flame war has gone on here at TWC involving these states primarily. Russia though, these days, tends to be championed by teenagers that have never lived in the motherland

from most of the Americans not involved in the military that I have met, USA is very un-nationalistic population wise. most of the people I have talked to on the street (I have done surveys) really, really, don't like our country very much at all. like over half of all men eligible for a draft say that they would actively try to avoid it even if their country was in great peril.

Trust me, this is not true. If you look around in America you will see American flags at 1 out of every four houses.

People would avoid the draft simply because ITS A DRAFT!!!

Few want to go to war. I would hate to be drafted but I would accept it. Many would not, simply out of fear, despite their nationalistic pride.

I'm not involved in the military but if anyone has read any of my posts they can tell im nationalistic.
