And as for now I am playing Empire Total war. I have heard alot of good things about Rome Total war and I fealt it was time for me to try it out for mysellf, and now I have a cuple of questions about Rome Total war for all of you Empire Total war players(non Empire players are also welcome to answer offcors ).

    Question nr 1:
Where can I find a copy of Rome Total war and all its expantions(if you know a place in or near sweden it wold be apritiated)? "norway"

    Question nr 2:
What are the names and how many are the expantions?

    Question nr 3:
Did you like it or did you hate it?

    Question nr 4:
Was Medieval Total war 2 better or wors than Rome Total war or mabe you cant compare them?

    1. Some media/games shops will sell them very cheaply if you are in luck. Otherwise Steam is an option

    2. The expansions are Alexander and Barbarion invasion. The easiest thing is to get the gold edition. this is Rome + the two expansions in one box. Alexander is not a typical TW-game in the sense that building an empire is totally out of the picture. BI has a lot of simularities with MEII. Religion, hordes,...

    3. i liked it a lot at the time and a few years after that, but it has some flaws.

    4. Well rome has less factions than MEII, less unit variety and faction variety/balance. Roman factions al look the same and are overpowered compared to the others

You can see Rome as MEII without princesses (you do have a family tree, but you can't use your girls as agents or marry in other factions), or merchants or priests (there is only religion in BI, and i didn't liked that expansion), and no hordes. There is no city/castle difference. Makes the game a lot more simple. The two expansions aren't half as good as kingdoms though. Also the pope has been replaced by the senate, so that only goes for Roman factions. Non-roman factions don't get any missions.

It doesn't sound good i know, but if you can get it very cheaply, it is certainly worth it. and there are the mods offcours

Less unit variety for Rome? Every European faction in Medieval is almost identical. Yes, the Roman factions are identical, but that's to be expected. Just my opinion, really.
I like both games, and go back and forth between playing them, as the mood strikes me.
Alea Iacta Est (The Die is Cast) - Gaius Julius Caesar
An army of sheep led by a lion is better than an army of lions led by a sheep - Alexander the Great
We will either find a way, or make one - Hannibal Barca

From typing in rome total war anthology into google, it seems that this contains the full package (rome, BI, and alexander). My bad, i was wrong when i said that gold edition contained alexander as well

    1) don't know

    2) has been completely answered already

    3) Neither liked it or hated it - LOVING it

    4) I do like RTW most out of all TW's since the battles are way more fun to play in RTW compared to all others (my opinion).
A cavalry charge is a cavalry charge in RTW - once you play it you'll notice what i mean.

The expansions might not be that attractive as a stand-alone, but gread mods make the game even greater, using the expansions
    and their implemented new features.
