The first post in the discussions and announcements thread is dated March 19, 2005, 12:39 PM. So XGM turned five a few days ago.

No wonder I feel so attached to this thing. My hard drive feels incomplete without this mod folder. Happy Birthday XGM!

Woot! Happy b-day to XGM! Now lets bring on the Greek strippers! I'll get Jarlaxe, leader of the Hegemonia dev team, to bake a cake for them to pop out of. He's a baker.

Five years with constant updates. Thats pretty impressive!
When my grandpa had worked 50 years in the company he recieved a gold-watch.
I think DBH should be given a TWC-golden-watch-award. If there is none it should be created!

Every operation was unique; no two were ever quite the same. However, the underlying every Campaign and battle were certain fundamental, which were applied according to circumstances.

Me, too. Very first mod I ever played was XGM and my hard drive has rarely been without it since. I don't recall which version it was that I first played, but it was just prior to the addition of the Periokoi Hoplites and the renaming of the then-called Spartan Phalangites to Periokoi Phalangites.

Aww... I miss those awesome Greek Armored Cavalry.
