Carthaginian Archers.?
Hey RTR Players,
i was wondering... is it possible to recruit archers as Carthage ? (on RTR PE Mod)
and i'm searching on the internet why carthage didn't had any archer units at the ancient time,
because the Numidians have.
is there a reason for it ? that the carthaginians didn't had archer units ?
so the question is:
is it possible to give carthage archer units ?
(and does i stays realistic if i add archer to that faction)
(Sorry for my bad english grammer
)

Re: Carthaginian Archers.?
Thanks Master, (for being my history teacher xD)
allright, no i don't wanna give the Carthaginians the ability to recruit archers if they never used them in the ancient times,
i wanna keep it as realistic as possible

Re: Carthaginian Archers.?
They used them, but never reqruited them from their own citicens.
The Cretan archers are the best archers around, why don't you send a spare general to Crete and reqruit some of them as mercenaries?

Bringing this thread out of the grave.... but, you could simply create the archers by typing - create_unit "name_of_town" "carthaginian archer" 9 8 8 8 in the RomeShell. When you look at your unit list it will appear as though they are peasants with small swords, but on the battle map they are archers.
