    Default [ASK] system.log ??

    Excuse Me, I have one question

    Before, I had adding new regions, new units for my mod. And then, when I read system.log :

    system.log

    20:50:20.328 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2
    20:50:20.328 [system.rpt] [always] ==== system log start, build date: Jun 25 2007 version bld-medieval2-update2.1-30 (43169) ===
    20:50:20.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_0.pack
    20:50:20.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_1.pack
    20:50:20.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_2.pack
    20:50:20.343 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_3.pack
    20:50:20.343 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_4.pack
    20:50:20.343 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/localized.pack

    That won't crash anything. It's all the error messages after it.

    If you have your mod set with the io_filefirst switch and the errorlog set to trace, you will see a lot more.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...64#post6661564 is a good tutorial on how and the switches you can use.

    simple Longbowman the game CFG is "asking" the data packs for the neede files
    it happens everytime the way the game works is the only actually saving it does are your games you save. Everything else gets completly rebuilt each time you run a campaign~

    'What it will crash in future?', and also pretty much the whole post, is bad grammar. You could mean a number of different things.

    What you are showing in blue there is a normal log for m2tw 1.3. Which adds even more to the confusion:- Why show a normal log?

    OK, I expect you are not going to understand my questions, so I am forced to go purely on intuition here.

    In your .cfg set your log from 'error' to 'trace' like this:

    [log]
    to = logs/system.log.txt
    level = * trace

    That will give you a detailed log

    He likely has an error that does not show in the error log.

    Have a look at this thread.

    20th turn crash

    Q: The game crashes during the AI's turn at about turn 20 and the error log just says the mod has crashed.

    A: I had this error and it took me a long time to fix it. This error occurred because I increased the number of children allowed in the data/descr_campaign_db.xml file. When the AI's family had more than 4 children the mod crashed.

    But when after 20th turn, I dont crash.

    Thanks for all

    4 children is the max in descr_campaign_db = should be fairly well known.

    Before changing settings, you should try and find out if it is possible. Some (like this) only give you problems after a number of round.
    The local search engine isn't very good, suggest you use google in advanced mode and then search for a phrase with the site set as twcenter.net

    If you want to go all the way back, Spurius found that one the hard way when he made his first map.
