    Default The wimpy mongols

    I'm playing Late age England...and the Mongols never moved fromt he area they are in. They have been sitting there. I haven't seen this so called scary Mongol invasion that Vanilla would..occasionally provide.

    What gives on the Mongol's side?

    I've regrettably no idea on that particular issue but I think your version (Late age England SS 6.2, SS 6.1, SS 6.2 RR/RC?) might help identify the problem.

    They may have imploded through a lack of momentum. That's happened to me previously in Late Era campaigns... the Mongols seem to do better when they explode into the world than when they start there. They start with 120000 florins but their armies are huuge and they only have one city.

    + the AI can't expand rapidly enough. Economy breaksdown and so the glorious Golden Horde won't do anything in Late Era campaign if you're unlucky. (or lucky, if you're one of their neighbours)
    The Enemy of Human Souls
    Sat grieving at the cost of coals;
    For Hell had been annexed of late,
    And was a sovereign Southern State.
