    Default Events available?

Hi I'm currently using SS 6.1 with the RR that came with the 6.1 installer I don't have the compilation.
I played the vanilla 6.1 and then installed RR and some units weren't avalable to recruti anymore(Greek Firethrower, Alamanoi etc.) so I figured my instalation is corrupt.
I'm at turn 127 in English campaign and around 140 in Byzantum all late era campaigns.
Should certain events become available yet, since I never had any event like that.
And where could I find the event dates?

Event dates are in descr_events.txt. There is one per campaign. The early era file is in Stainless_Steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign and the late era is in Stainless_Steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\Late_Era_Campaign. Also make sure that the disable_events setting in both the M2TW and Stainless Steel config files is set to 0

Thank you, but what are the names of the events that should make units available?
I didn't find no armour events in there. Just gunpowder, first rudder( heard something like that triggers trebuchets) but I have no idea what triggers elite units like Alamanoi, Greek Firethrowers etc.

OK I put 20 years per turn and saw it actually works. So that's OK.
But I like to play with 0.5 years per turn so I would have to wait long before they become available. Are events bound by turn number or year?
If I play 0.5 years per turn does that mean Hundred years war event will trigger half the time sooner?

If you look in the export_descr_building under data, you'll be able to see the event requirements and can look them up. The event date is by the years. So if your campaign starts at 1100 and it says date 100, that means the event will happen in 1200.
