wanted to sound interestingly witty and funny and ended up being pathetic, but hey maybe we're just being subjective, but i think we're just a book audience used to world class writing all the time. I could have written something better and more intriguing and english isn't even my mother tongue

Yeah of all the characters I can't believe they chose Jaime...I would have had a hard time deciding who to pick in the final...but since its jaime I will definitely be voting for Rand

Yes, I almost think they wanted to add Jaime as an comical relief.

Just look at his advantages/disadvantages, they are very cynical. Advantage: He`s the best swordsman. Disadvantage: He`s missing his sword hand- Wtf?! But now he owns everybody, heh.

And it`s also funny how people complain about "the most popular wins, durr". Really, guys? You just can`t compare fictional entities coming from fundamentally different worlds..

Yeah the Tolkien fans really let me down must say, i was expecting a Gandalf final triumph, though in these circumstances i think Rand will win it (i'm still voting for Jaime in every round though )

It was Rand i was worried all along not cthulhu well Rand and the "Ringers" but they seemed to be some way off target in this competition. I don't know if anyone checked these stats but Jaime's battles have the most voters, that has to say something about Martin. It's not even a character everyone would love, some are Stark fans, others Tyrell, others Baratheon and so on, we're all actually voting for the authors here
