    Default Rest in Peace - Galain's 8800GTS

It with great sadness I announce the death of my wonderful 8800GTS Graphics card. We played much M2TW together over the years. It is with sorrow that I must unplug it and turf it in the bin.

Anyway on a serious note... As above my Graphics card died this week and it will be a little while until I can afford to buy a new one. Aside from slow scrolling rates on the internet, my computer seems to working fine, still fast as ever. Could anyone let me know if I keep using my computer with the graphics card still intalled, can I be causing further damage to my computer?

All is obviously not well with it because the "Standby" option for when you want to turn the computer off is blanked out, but I read that usually means there is a problem with a device driver etc. My family still like to use the computer for the net, facebook you name it. So can it be damaged further?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm STILL using my BFG 7900GT OC Can handle anything I throw at it still. Windows 7 64. I was actually thinking of upgrading to a 8800GT heard a lot of good things about that card and it is cheap now.
