Who would you consider to honestly be the most evil human being that is still living on the planet today?
Like honestly "pure evil".

I swear to god if anyone says George Bush I'm going to smack them I'm so tired of all the lame jokes about him, I wouldn't mind all of the satirisation if it was funny at all, but it's just so tired now.
Most evil? That Iranian President I would say, or Kim il-Jong the tinpot dictator of North Korea. Dunno, who has the highest genocide score in the world today?

Yes! Dear Lord, I die inside every time I consider the Pope. Look at that evil old man, eating babies and suppressing most all religious thought! I should have seen the light earlier, my saviour. Why, let us all go down to the temple of light and sing praises to the Cosmos. Then, we can become martyrs of Reason when the Pope sends his black-horned minions to slaughter us all. His lips are soaked with the stains of Jewish blood! Look: I just saw him rip a Turkish woman's head open and suck her brains out. It's... horrid!
His reluctance to change anything is surely seen in his evil good works. How dare he commission new stained glass art and basilicas for construction? All that urging of others to give to charity and be good human beings... utterly malevolent! There he is now, meeting with the Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, who just sent 1200 volunteers to Haiti! Isn't that such an Imperialistic piece of crap? We should take him down and confiscate his vile power!

I don't think that the most evil person is necessarily to be found in a despotic country. Who knows what Fred Phelps would do if he had dictatorial power like Ahmadinejad. That ugly turd Kim Jong Il is a good candidate however, no doubt.
The point is that Phelps' actions matter. He is evil when he does evil, and not before. Ahmadinejad has shown evil in his actions, and therefore he is evil. Let Phelps' thoughts and words be judged by God, but only his actions by us. When he starts shooting gays, we'll know!

Exaggeration aside, he does a hell of a lot of harm in the world. Refusing to allow condoms to be used by Catholics - going even further by claiming that they contribute to AIDS being caused. He was the author of a paper detailing how the Church should avoid prosecution of those priests who were found to be abusing children.
You may call it sticking to his convictions, but I call it failing to adapt to the real world. Sure, the Church may do a fair amount of charity work (as long as they don't have to be egalitarian in their employment), and that's all well and good. However, this Pope has contributed next to nothing good to society. The charity would go on regardless of who's wearing the crazy hat: he did not have to make the comments about condoms, nor did he have to write the rules on protecting child rapists.
He was also an author of a paper saying gays are naturally-occurring and need to be sheltered from all hostile action and attacks. There is something more than just pure evil and pure good on both sides. Humans make deplorable actions sometimes, and other times we make perfectly good actions our own. Don't call him a force for evil just for one or two terrible things. I was exaggerating your previous criticisms because I knew how utterly false and rhetorically silly they were.
Egalitarianism is B.S. created by the pagan republican monsters of the 1790's. Let it die slowly and horribly. You may call it sticking to his convictions, but I call it failing to adapt to the real world. Why must it all be a joke to you, the Church? Everything is a spiteful, sarcastic, cynical joke. I remain utterly convinced that the Pope's urgings of good works and the multiple peace talks he engages in outweigh any "evil". The Order of Malta alone beats out atheist attempts at charity.

Monarchist,
One could think of the thirteen million Africans who will die this year because previous generations were denied the use of condoms. But does that make the Pope more evil than anyone else? Of course it doesn't since evil is not measured by deeds, rather nature. So for that matter is the person who begs the original question any less evil than anyone else?
The lunch lady at my high school was prittying evil you won't belive the kind of crap she made us eat.

"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."
