Are the romanians TRUE romans?

Is not conclusive that according to oldest oral tradition, Romanians are descendant of Dacians and Roman colonists that chose to stay here, leaving in mountains.

are they the true romans? I wonder who are the fake romans? What about italians and greeks and so many other former people of the empire.....

According to wikipedia, they are Daco-Romanians (Dacia-Roma). Don't know if that is 'true roman'.
