prettiest faction?

im looking for opinions on the prettiest faction! im looking for some eye candy for some screenshots i have planned.

would preferr it was vanilla SS 6.2rc4 rosters but im all for opinions on others.

Well I guess some of that has to do with color preference and playstyle. Sorry I can't provide any screenshots, but The Byzantines and Sicilians really catch my eye....

Well... Im torn:
-TO: its already been said that they look nice
-Lithuania: Actually a very nice looking faction, suprisingly. All the units flow together nicely, and later on there more elite units just look awesome
-(RR/RC Comp. OR Battle for the Baltic 2-if it ever gets released ) Mongols: they look great, they perform immaculately.... I just cant really describe it. Once you see the sheer rain of arrows that a good number of there horsemen can unleash... just wow, and plus, the armor looks SWEET as well !
-HRE: because yellow and black has always looked nice in unison

Of these, if i had to choose... I honestly dont know what i would pick !
Im currently in a mongol game right now in RR/RC though. Good times.

PS: I do have mongol screenshots, but i havent taken many of the other factions, oh well:

Byzantines are the best looking, with the CBUR units and the Agis Tournas fellas tough looking unit cards.

In general, feudal/professional armies look nicer than militia and AoR units, except Lithuania, which looks great because the leather goes with the mail and the banners nicely.

Have to throw in a vote for Lithuania as my absolute favorite, although the Mongols in BFTB2 are a very close second. I just love the dark, earthy colours and the great synergy between the leather and the mail, and how well everything flows with their banners and such. Everytime I see a Lithuania loading screen, I cheer a little inside. Plus, unlike most other factions, I think all of their units looks great - from the basic spear and axemen, up to the elite religious units. With most other factions I really only like their later, more advanced units. Spear militia, hobilars, and peasant archers are boooring. Give me Baltic spearmen and Latvian crossbowmen any day!

Ich like Viking Raiders alot. With some armour upgrades they just look awesome.
Also I really like lithuanian later units.

Aye, but i am constantly amazed by modders' abilities to work within the constraints of the game.

Maybe someday when CA realizes that cutting back modder support for games like with NTW and ETW is a mistake and releases source code or something for its previous releases we will be free of such silly pre-determined limits. Tis a faint hope, but ah well. Even without it, you guys weave wonderful creations !

Edit: Honestly, if i was CA, i would release everything i had left over from shogun total war and medieval 1 total war over to the community right now as a sign of good faith.

I like the Byzantines, Norway/Denmark, H.R.E., and a few others, though I wish H.R.E. had predominantly black banners rather than yellow, especially when fighting Denmark (who also uses yellow as its primary color). It's not a big deal, though. The Teutonic Order and the Crusader factions also rank high on my list.

In the latest RR/RC it has to be one of the factions with skins from rusichi mod. Mongols, Rus, Novgorod the Rusichi skins are amazing i cant get over how sweet my Drizinas and Berdiche militias look, and mongols just look amazing all around as seen in previous screens.

If those three arent your bag i would say Byzantines they have an really cool looking unique roster.
