Battle screen problem, Would really appreicate some help

Hi guys, i bought medieval 2 some time ago and decided to play it earlier. It seems that the multiplayer does not work. (surprise surprise). It isnt a invalid cd key error but its whenever i join a game. I customize my army blah blah blah, when it is time to go into the battle screen, the game crashes as soon as the army shows up on screen. Dont have a clue on what to do. Would really appreciate it if you helped.

Edit: It says unspecified error medieval 2 will now exit. Gotta love the descriptive messages

What version of Windows are you running on? XP, Vista, Win7 etc.

oops thought i included windows 7 my bad. Im running windows 7 home premium and in response to irishron im not using the same units i randomized the armies just to test if it would work. 'Preciate it.

no, i just installed off the cds and thats it nothing added except for a mod that adds new attack animations. The problem was there without it.

Knowing Win7 and this game, instal: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en.

This may sound redundant, but make sure you logged in as admin, and in the icon you may have to set it "Run as admin" and XP compatibility. This game is that old.
