How can I change Family member's name and his type(spearman,rider)

Changing the character name is this tutorial

To change the model used for the character in battle is in descr_character,.txt

faction            romans_julii
dictionary        15
strat_model        sm_roman_general
battle_model    roman_general
battle_equip    gladius, chainmail shirt helmet and rectangular shield

Faction Banners: Do you mean the icons? Those on the strat map? Or those in battle? Each has a different way of doing it.

UI folder is where all the interface art is located as well as building cards and other culture specific things. It is located in the PACK folder. You have to unpack it. You can edit all UI stuff except that for the ROMAN culture, for the edits to take effect for this culture you have to repak to the folder.
