    Default How to make flags...

How do you make flags with Gimp?

And I mean really making, not putting it in the game.
I can't get the 'rubbish' look on the flags...

I used this tutorial once, it's fine, but I really mean MAKING flags, not changing...

Ok, in the tutorial you say: "Use the airbrush tool to make some shading."
It came to my attention that other flags (like in DMUC) have the same 'rubbish' look and even the same wrinkles.
This is not done with the airbrush tool...

So, can someone please post a tutorial for MAKING flags, not adding them to the game or changing game flags?

I do not follow you. My tutorial is about making flags. If you want to make clones of the vanilla with exactly the same scratches and dirts it is easy to do it. Just use the vanilla white one I mention and on a layer above it add you flag. Then use the right filter so the pattern of the lower vanilla comes to upper new flag. Personally I prefer the clothify effect. But this has nothing to do with the airbrush mentioning, because these flags are very easy to be done. It is refereed to the hud flags where the foldings are indeed made with shadows as in vanilla flags as well. And for that airbrush is the safer tool.

    That's what I mean!

    Thanks pal!

EDIT: The flags are great, I'm now modding them!
