Lag Discrepancy

So I've been playing Stainless Steel a little bit lately. Thought I'd switch it up. But tonight, I wanted to play a little Third Age (you know, get a little LOTR in my system), and I loaded up a custom battle to see if Third Age ran as smoothly as Stainless Steel (I recently updated my Video Card driver and it enabled Stainless Steel to run very smoothly on high settings all around and I wanted to test Third Age). I come to find however, that there is a small, but noticeable difference in the lag/fps in battles of the same size/same settings between Third Age and Stainless Steel. Now this is in the Third Age forum so yes, Third Age ran a bit slower than Stainless Steel.

Can anyone give me a possible explanation and/or even a fix? A fix would be appreciated, as I'd like to be able to play Third Age on the same gorgeous settings as Stainless Steel.

I Dont think you can....

Because if you look at it... A Full stack of infantry itself contains atleast 3000

then if you have one full stack of infantry. That's 6000 all together.

And normally. You would'nt fight that much on the normal TW Unless your crusading or something?

The units of TATW have generally better quality then those in SS.

Yeah, so you'd have to sacrifize that... and lower your graphics settings

I actually have the FPS Booster, lol. I don't notice much of a change, but I leave it there just to make myself feel better, lol.
