    Default Full screen problem

Well I like to play my game in full screen, but sometimes it's more handy to play it in windowed mode.
Now I know how to play in windowed mode just edit the Target into: "D:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -ne -show_err -enable_editor
But i have only one problem. The program ignores the -ne command and plays it not in windowed mode but still in full screen, the only difference with the -ne added is that when added, i can switch between programs using the Alt+Tab mode more easily without the game minimizing and reloading again, but it is still full screen, not windowed. Does anybody have a sollution for this problem?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I'm using Windows Vista Basic, Rome Total War GOLD (BI) with the mod Rome Total Realism installed, and have the "unlock-all-factions" download installed and i made it possible to play with the rebels in custom battle mode.

uninstall everythrinng and then renstall and unlock all factions via modding the texts

Don't listen to him. I have "-ne" as well and its affects are exactly the same as yours. Then again, for me, being able to switch programs smoothly is better than a task bar.

I've recently done that because BI didn't work anymore and the results are still the same. And i used haders all factions mod which only edits the descr_strat file and the campaign description so thats not the problem. I'm not that stupid

yes, go to "options", and change the screen size (campaign map and battle map size) to the lowest possible.
