Free Energy ?

Obviously I am not mentioning about "alternative energy" such as wind, sun etc. I want to hear your opinions about "free energy" devices and "overunity machines". There are millons of documents, plans, videos about how they works. Most of the case, the source is not provided. However sometimes a nuclear ph is behind these machines and theories.

Many just refuse since overunity is not possible but some others thinks why not. I totally just skip the ones who sells the plans of such devices. I think it contradicts with the very idea of "Free energy".

So, if all those are lie, why there are such immense number of documents and some serious guys behind it ? What would be the point of producing such documents, videos etc ?

No working example of a perpetual motion machine has ever been demonstrated. SMOT was a reasonable try but it could never be made to complete a full cycle with the ball.

All the documents and videos are theoretical or experimental in purpose, as I've said there has yet to be a demonstration of a real perpetual motion machine.

Nuclear Fusion is where it's at right now in terms of exciting energy people, there's a machine being built in France that may finally give us viable Fusion...

There have been a lot of scams though!

There is one interesting device that some consider a perpetual motion device. Its the Atmos clock that winds itself using temperature changes. Basically a change of a few degrees in temp forces gas in a sealed chamber to expand and contract and that pushes on the main spring to wind it.

I'm semi convinced they actually have something. They are certainly doing it commercially.

Steorn has yet to prove anything. All their demonstrations haven't once proven they can break the law of energy conservation and the scientists that they invited to investigate it all concluded it didn't work.

I'm not basing it on what they say, I'm basing it on their finances and investment model. The only way at all that this will prove to be profitable is with a successful product.

I would think if it were real, they would have set up a demo at the royal college by now in front of a room full of physicists who would be in awe.

Vacuum energy pretty much provides infinite energy. Unfortunately we have little idea how to make it provide energy on large scale applications or whether that's even possible.

As far as other systems go. I don't think any system violates the conservation of energy. Even cold fusion and fusion theories still balance overall if you account for all of their particles.

Overunity machines aren't perpetual energy. If such a thing existed it would just be drawing on energy from somewhere we hadn't thought of previously.
