I will not buy Napoleon: Total War.

That is until proper modding documentation is released for Empire Total war.

I'm not buying NTW, but for differant reasons than yours.

Understandable. My main reason is the lack of modding tools, but the fact that ETW is still new to me also plays a role.

It is really fun and in my opinion the best Total War game. But it is your decision, just advising you that you should.

I have heard such. And It may be the best games, I just wish that CA would support their games more before moving on.

I bought it, good game. But its not worth 40-50 bucks (US). Hopefully more will be added for free (yeah right) in the future or the price is reduced to about 30 US. So I would agree with you.

I brought it and love it NTW and there's mods you can download for Empire so stop acting like a kiddie brat.

I'm curious,why do people feel the need to post on here telling everyone why they aren't going to buy the game.These kind of threads are getting really tedious,If your not going to buy it,don't buy it,it doesn't really concern anyone else.

It's a game. Not an intellectual movement. No sense in boycotting it.

Guys, there are some moding tools out already, you can mod the game at least the same way as Empire... lus new features makes this game much better than ETW ever will be...

Why on earth do people feel the urge to keep making threads i wont buy it or ill never play it again what on earth do you think you achieving with them apart from being annoying and well childish .

Critics are welcome not all feed back should be positive but threads like this serve no purpose at all really .

When i started playing ETW i put it down in disgust and didnt play it again untill each patch came out each time with the hope they would have fixed it (they didnt) but did you see a thread in empires forums from me oh this game etc etc etc i am deleleting it people dont buy it rant rant rant? Nope you never saw a thread like that from me . I expressed my displeasure and explained what i didnt like what i did as i have with NTW aswell not everything is perfect but it is more finished than ETW was far more polished

Modders will over come sooner or later thats the will of these men/women ( i am myself a modder but not for ntw etw but i have now turned my attention to this game) all the great tools for med2 and tools now for etw ntw came from where modders not ca so it will continue down this line but yes it be nice if they atleast gave more documentation to aid us in our search .

But have a childish hissy in the forums is that going to help get this done ?? i seriuosly doubt it mate.

righteous indignation for years to come for the blunder that was E:TW: priceless.

Anyway, i'd take N:TW, it's more fun to me. But there seems to be a large customer base for the latter.

I really wonder why people make these threads. There's already a thread asking for modding tools. It's stickied even. You could have voiced your opinion there.

I won't buy it because I read Darth's review. Sounds like they half fixed empire and reskinned it for NTW. No thanks. I hope another company does the next Total War.

Remember you shouldnt base your decision on one persons review. If you look around the various reviews/posts/polls, you will find support tends to tip in favour of NTW over ETW. I played Darthsmod for ages on ETW, but im still not going back to it.

We have people making mods for NTW which even DarthVader borrowed bits from their previous work for his own mod. So there are other people who can help improve the game too, you dont need to rely on a single person.

I myself am having immense fun with it, and there are plenty of mods already available. Yes official modding tools would make modders lives easier, but they are still getting on and improving gameplay for us without them.
