Rome Total War BI in Windows 7 64 Bit

surfing the web makes me want to pick this game up again... tried to install it on my laptop but having some issues...

is it playable in windows 7 64 bit?
any special instructions on installing?

I am running RTW/BI with Win7/64. No issues so far. Can you post more details of your problem?

Just re-installed the game after going 5 years without playing it on windows 7 64 bit.

I had problems initially installing the addon packs and updates. I fixed this by making sure the original "rome total war" game installation path was "c:\Program Files\Activision" NOT the default "c:\Program Files (x86)\Activision" for a 64 bit OS. I had to do this otherwise the addon packs and updates won't detect that the base install was present.
