    Default annoying diplomacy

ok ... im oman and im allied with mongols , they attacked abbasids so i decided to join them to get qatar and maybe basra as well , and 2 turns after i declared war ghorids declared war on me and 3 turns laterm ongols signed a peace with abbasids !
i offered abbasids 8000 florins ( and 9000 at some point ) and it says its a generous offer but the AI wont accept ! i did this to ghorids too but they also respond the same way ... i understand this mod is supposed to be hard but its not fun to restart the same campaign 4 times

You don't have to restart the campaign because it got a little bit difficult. Empires historically expand and shrink, just go with it.

With regards to the diplomacy thing, It could be a number of things that would explain the Abbassid's and Ghorid's refusal of peace.

    1. They have wanted a war with you for some time, bit did not have the resources due to their war with the Mongols.
    2. You have upset them greatly at declaring war on them when you thought they were down and out, i.e. they are being stubborn because you tried to kick them when they were down, metaphorically speaking.
    3. Your reputation is bad.
    4. They don't need the money despite how genorous it may be.

my reputation is good, its "reliable"
also it isnt "a littile bit difficult" especially not against 3 full ghorid stacks striking one after another , elephants routed half my army -.-
and thats ONLY the ghorids , makes me think what abbasids are about to do
i will try to play further but i dont see how i can win this war especially that i am at war with the 3rd and 4th most powerful nations in my campaign with no allies

Well even if it is reliable that doesn't cancel out the other options offered as reasons. Fight the best you can, using javelin using units to best effect against their elephants, and if all else fails get vassalized in exchange for peace as soon as it gets offered before building your way back to the top.

You should not have that much trouble with the pachiderms, because Oman has nice javelin units, available at Nizwa at the very start of the campaign. Or simply hire some Afghan merenaries.

Your reputation alone will not help you in most cases. Sometimes you need to beat up the AI a bit - take a few of its settlements or at least besiege them with enough forces to take them. If the AI has settlements sieged, it is much more appreciative of ceasefires. The other way around is also true - if the AI has you by the balls, it tends to recognize it and so it would decline ceasefire offers - make sure you do not have any of your settlements sieged by the AI, because if you do, there is virtually a 0% chance that any offers you make would be accepted.

Finally, Oman is a difficult faction because of its position - most campaigns tend to end in a war on two fronts - one in Iraq and one in India, assuming everything stays calm in Persia. To plan for that, I usually make sure I destroy all opposition in India and secure my back, before I take on the Abbasids. I also try to stay out of Yemen and Africa - too far and I do not need potential problems with the Ayubids.

well i think its too late to save myself , the abbasids finally came with a large army and im getting pwned by ghorids , they wont accept vassalizing me and they would very soon take hormuz , and if they did they'd probably loot it which will make it useless even if i wanted to take it back , i'll restart i guess ...
