cannot train units in settlement

Hi All..
for your info ,i already captured Chartago and Hadremtum today with 2 full stack of army. But when i want to retrain the troops ,only hastati is available but not the pricipes and triari..In those settlement ,i already built Provincial Barracks ,supposedly to enable me to train hastati ,principes and triari..but now only hastati is available..

please someone help me...i dont want to fight chartaginian with only using hastati...

You can only retrain those units in Legio-cities, which are mainly located around Italy and the northern shores of the Mediterranian ocean.

But you can found in the area, that you can recruit some imitation legions to suport your conquest.

so later on in my campaign ,i just retrain those units in nearest settlements ,Carali of Lilybaem..

Don´t worry, the imitations are not mercs, you only need to upgrade your barracs, and trainit in regions with a black shield. They are cheap, and not as good as original legionaries of course

But those imitation legions are only available after the Marian reforms though.
