Is it anyone here that can list the requirements for castle upgrades in KGCM?
I have a castle in my English campaign with more than 10000 population, but it won't allow me to upgrade to a fortress!

No.
It's the only castle I have above 8000 pop, but I have 4 others at 5-6000 and over their population it says "Population required for next level of settlement: 8000". In the biggest one there's nothing.
EDIT: And by the way, money isn't a problem, I have 150000 or something..
Isn't there anyone that have an answer?
It seems I can't upgrade castles anymore![]()
i cant think of a good answer to be honest i can suggest perhaps make a copy of your descr_settlement mechanics and campaign_db and post them here so i can have a look at them . First and this may sound strange but delete your map.rwn file and restart the game and when it rebuilds take a look and see if that has cleared this unusual problem .
Also when you run the game after this clearing of the cache files(map.rwn) if you could also post a log here so i can see if the game is doing something strange but there is no bug currently in KGCM that could have caused this i can only think corrupt download![]()
Could you tell me where to find these files, I haven't seen them before![]()
Here's some examples for where they might be located:
1) map.rwm -> C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\kingdoms_grand_campaign_mod\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
2) descr_settlement_mechanics -> C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\kingdoms_grand_campaign_mod\data
3) campaign_db -> C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\kingdoms_grand_campaign_mod\data
I found the files, but they are "invalid files" to upload here
No sorry, I didn't, but if I delete the file, will my savegames be lost?
Nope
Ok, I'll do it then![]()
This didn't help, all it did was making the game use an awful long time to load
But now Caen has 7800 pop. I'll just wait to see if the same problem occurs with that castle...
