Short video I did of Europa Barbarorum + video idea

Hello. I recorded a video of the campaign map for Europa Barbarorum. I couldn't find any other videos of the campaign map for this mod, so I thought I would be the first. This was really mostly for my teacher though, who I give updates every week I see him on my campaign progress. He is really into hearing about RTW and how I'm doing in the game and what not, but he has never seen the campiagn map for EB (or vanilla RTW for that matter). And the map is way too big to take screenshots of ;P Well, guess I could...would sure take a long time though lol

Also, would any of you be interested in weekly (or every 2 weeks, depending on how busy I am) videos of my campaign(s)? This would be for my teacher, but also for you guys. I was thinking people could respond here (or in my videos comments) on which way I should expand, or who I should attack, or if I should stay and do nothing for a certain number of years and just build up.

My current campaign is of Baktria (my current favorite faction in EB), and its going pretty well. I have four cities under my command...did almost get a major defeat by Seleukeia. Attacked one of their cities in my push to the west, conquered it...well, a few rounds later, they attacked with a little over 2000 men, and I only had around a 1000 men. Did end up winning by quite a bit, but it was still close...was really exciting. Did end up making peace with them luckily, and they stopped sending men at my cities.

Anyway, my point wasn't to talk about my campaign in this thread lol (already a thread for that)...what I was getting at is, I would give weekly (or as I said, every 2 weeks) updates on my campaign progress, and have people interact with me on these forums, or on youtube...and they would be kinda giving orders. And it would be up to me to carry them out (be it, if I fail or lose). I've never done anything like that before with any of my videos, and would be interesting experiment to try. I've always just done my own thing. I would be using this mod of course ;P I'm not the best at RTW or anything, I've had it for a while, just never played too much (Partly due to bad PC at the time)...but losing/failing is just as fun as winning

Anyway, any thoughts on the video and/or my interactive video(s) idea? It isn't for sure that I will do this, but just an idea..I do get rather busy in real life. But it would be cool to do.

Nice idea, I did something similar on the org a few years ago, a Romani campaign where other forum goers played as senators and decided what to do on the campaign map, it wasn't video based. Check out the AAR forum, I haven't seen anything similar here at TWC, but there are a lot of people read AARs so you should get an audience. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=858

You need to use FRAPs to record it. I have the paid version of FRAPs, since the free version has a nasty watermark on it and is missing some features. And then I use Windows Movie Maker Live to edit it and what not

And good idea of posting my idea in the AAR section Would fit perfectly there

sadly my game is extremely laggy with Fraps recording it..
