I believe that there is a Kingdom of Aragon guide somewhere here, hold on and I'll look for it, and I'll throw in a few tips aswell.

EDIT: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=333269 is the INDEX for the stainless steel faction(/general) guides made so far.
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=337949 Is the Kingdom of Aragon guide.

As for playing as the Kingdom of Aragon, I suppose I know a few tips to make your life easier. (I'll mostly presume early era.)
As you start off with only towns(rather than castles), your beginning force will be mostly millita, to get the most of them, upgrade their armour.
On that same note, you will want to obtain a nearby castle quite soon.
Having essentially four border factions, means that you must be precise with campagin movements and diplomacy. (I say four, because in addition to Castille-Leon, the Moors and France, if the Aragonese player expands northwards, he(she? does anybody female play this mod, or even this game???) will come into contact with Genoa.
The less border factions, the better, so I advise you do NOT expand north(at first anyway), and use marriage alliances and gifts of money to secure a lasting good relationship with France.
France is also far more powerful than Castille-Leon, which makes this an even wiser move.
Turtle the first few turns(after you rushed to gain control of one castle) and build up a force compotent enough to capture Valencia.
Direct most of your military actions south, against the Moors.
You can also obtain a simple alliance with Castille-Leon(I'm calling them Spain for here on in, deal with it), to secure that front, and I say simple, as merely proposing an alliance, and hoping that they don't backstab you. (Don't offer them much to keep it for too long, as you'll destroy them in due course.), Which they usually will not, being occupied with the Moors as well.
Against the Moors, it is extremely beneficial to send a diplomat to Rome, secure an alliance, and buy him off.
Which should give you the power to manipulate Crusades, which is argueably the most powerful way of dealing with the Islamic factions.
After a cerain point, you should become secure enough to not lose, but that doesn't mean you won't be fighting a war of attrition several times. But they are the difficulty which makes the game great.

Don't ever get lazy and auto-resolve. It's boring, and you are at a disadvantage for doing it.
In the battle, use a solid core of javlinmen behind your main infantry, while your javlin cavalry serve as an all purpose cavalry unit. (They can kite, and can charge flanks where needed.)

    Oh, and another strategic thing.
The islands in the Mediterranean may seem like good choices to rush and capture quickly, but compared to regions with land borders, the islands aren't really worth it.
And finally, either ignore Portugal until you conquer them, or get a good alliance with them to help you deal with Spain.

    Shameless plug.

My livestream campaign -is- a kingdom of Aragon campaign using the Stainless Steel RR/RC two turns per year Compilation - so the pace is slower, but the overall strategy should remain the same.

My basic strategy was to knuckle down and build up my trade infrastructure, while I got ready to deal with border wars. If you can, you'll want to be aggressively expanding into your rebel neighboring territories, especially the castle to your northwest and northeast (Toulouse and Pamplona if memory serves correctly). Once all your neighbors are NOT rebels, get ready for Leon and Castille to declare war on you, and possibly France. I've had to deal with random italian factions attacking me, and I lost Palma since I wasn't paying enough attention to protecting it.

Early on, your economy will be booming, but it's -very- easy to get caught by troop upkeep costs once you secure a number of castles.

As you war with your neighbors, try to tweak your diplomacy so that you're fighting only one faction at a time. Since I'm playing on Very Hard Very Hard, I've let the AI declare war on me, and once I punish them in city siege defenses, if they don't cease fire with me I take the initiative and grab one or two of your territories.

This faction has EXTREMELY strong light cavalry - Alforatts. You will want as many of these as possible as they can destroy most early era units if handled properly, especially in the open fields of Spain. Pick up the javelin cavalry once you can.

I would advise picking up allies that naturally oppose France - ie, the Holy Romans and England. It seems no matter what I do I can't placate France - and I almost have no motivation to. With enough tenacity and planning one can hold them off with your northern castles as you take care of conquering Spain. (something that I -highly- recommend as your first overall goal)
